LocalView Fusion

In a modern democracy citizens rightly expect government to show how money is being spent* – and why.

Councils deliver a variety of services for the benefit of the community and LocalView Fusion can be utilised to help citizens understand what services are being delivered on their behalf. Councils can even map spending and the outcomes of policies and projects.

From the public’s perspective, it has the potential to be a user-friendly ‘mapping’ tool to show what is being done where. In more advanced applications, Local Authorities can even inform the public of outcomes.

Internally, LocalView Fusion provides an easy to use interface to help all council employees analyse and interpret geographic information.

* The US government has an official website www.recovery.gov specifically created to allow citizens to 'track the money'. By entering their address the citizen can view what is being spent where, by project, within the local area.
